Shoulder Clunking With Pain

The self-made man

Bassbin Twins is an artist, a real one. The kind of guy that I respect and defend tooth and nail. He founded his label to release his productions and his, lay precisely in 50, released nearly 100 remixes, pat on a wide range of styles (breakbeat, house ...) and influences. All without even worrying about issues of consistency on the same EP. It mixes, does things his own way, is contretape conventions. Finally it creates an identity and an aesthetic through his own twins recognizable 1000. Disarticulation if their particular feels like a junkie stoned on LSD and ready to fall backwards. Johnny Depp in Fear and Loathing in las vegas sum, or Brigitte Fontaine on a TV set, for those who hate the film.

In 2010, he defines his music as "black metal, death metal." It's simple, I hate metal, its only reading gives me chills, and sometimes even acoufènes. So when I walk on myspace artists I do not know and come across such a title, I have the reflex to return direct to myspace precedent, see squarely on google. It's like "new" Word.

Little Bassbin Twins never produced such horrors. So I like to think he is trying to mislead us, as if to push the neophyte to study his career. He went on his EP this song is a sweet shooting. A rise house, dubbed the famous speech "Said to Do That" and punctuated with a good big bass. The piece becomes breakbeat, and it kills result.

My favorite song. An ultra staccato voice that spits out a "Imhotep" hypnotic rhythm house a complex, original and tape drive, packed it weighed a big massacre at the finish. Imhotep means "he who comes in peace", listening to the violence of the kick, one seeks with malice consistency ... Note the excellent remix Big Beat Fat Boy Slim, and the same year collaboration with the same fan of "fancy candy". The voice is resumed for another beating big beat. Felt worse for my taste, but the rest listen to music fans who made your ears bleed.

I could not finish this close without one of his final prod. Wopper not his best song, but it is purely breakbeat, so much fat and is very effective.
